The Domenici’s are a great family. Pete is a good man who, like us all, has his failings and times where he does not live up to his best expectations. Not that it makes for an excuse, but I do know that at the time Pete and Nancy were going through some very hard times due to the health problems of one of their children.
I’ll pray for the family, and I will continue to admire them.

If he resigned and left town to get right I could be impressed. Instead, he stayed in Washington, lying to his wife and denying his son, all the while trying to force through federal laws forcing us all to pay for insurance coverage for mental illness because one of his daughters has schizophrenia.
