I suspect you’re misreading the intent of the ads. It seems they are meant to show the true nature of islam, rather than serve as a call to kill Jews. Fighting the jihadis with their own words, so to speak. And that is most likely why the people in San Francisco are upset, that they are shown to be supporters of genocidal jihadis.
