Islam teaching to get to new level in Russia - March 5, 2013 - On March 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the government has three months to hammer out a single Bachelor’s and Master’s degree program on studying Islam.Experts underscore the necessity of reviving long-standing traditions of national Islamic theology, a task that may be fulfilled with the help of a single higher education system for Muslims. In this regard, the Russian President’s decision on the matter can be called a landmark move, believes Damir Gizatullin, first deputy head of the Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of European Russia and Siberia.
"Students will study for three or five years without going abroad, Gizatullin says. Namely, they will get education that will be in line with our long-standing principles of peaceful coexistence, something that remains our cherished dream."
So does that mean that the remaining 85% of Russian Public Television airtime will be devoted to Orthodox Christian theme?
When you cut down a tree with an axe (which is wedge with a cutting tip) the first blow is followed by many others in the same spot. Russia, the Muslims just took the first whack. 15 % is just to get their foot in the door before they kick it in. I believe Islam is that evil one world religion that is spoken of in Revelation. A truly evil religion when examined under the microscope. It is a perversion of Christianity with significant changes which make it a different thing altogether.
I’m sure the daily police blotter on muslim violence could cover at least 15% of the broadcast.
And so it starts. I wish the Russians well, because a cancer is now contained within. Of course, so it is also with us.
Look, Mr. Islam, start, finance and establish your own TV station and say whatever you wish. Quit demanding others hand over, don’t you know that constitutes armed robbery?
I thought Muslims believed that television was from the devil? Didn’t Afghans have to bury their TV’s in the yard to hide them from the Taliban?
Russia is an interesting country. They have the balls that America long-ago abandoned. I would not be surprised if not only did this demand go unanswered, but the people who made the demand started dying of natural causes.
