What a shame. I’m normally a pro-biz person, but it looks to me like Wells stepped into it big time. Hope they get to pay a bunch of money to his heirs.
the court and lawers are equally negligent guilty.
at a tipping point, negligence becomes culpable.
Wells Fargo is not a business. It's a quasi-governmental entity that has full indemnification from the central bank. It faces zero market risk and zero competitive pressure.
Deal with such an entity and you can expect DMV/IRS/Post Office service levels. Now in an attempt to paper over the bad PR Wells Fargo has programmed their employees to be artificially nice to customers - stepping into a branch these days feels like walking onto the set of Demolition Man ("Have a joy joy day!")
Wells Fargo just keeps getting worse and worse re their human relations (i.e. with customers).
What the hell is going on with such an old and once honorable bank?
Hope the family of the deceased sues the shit out of them and wins.
The judge sounds like a real asshole. Can she be recalled or unelected?
