Scouring for his next meal in a dumpster downtown, a homeless man is ticketed by Houston Police. Now, opponents point to the citation as validation of arguments against the city’s homeless feeding ordinance.

This guy is a veteren and he deserves so much better than this.

No vet who served honorably should be reduced to this.Divert Federal $$$ from paying for sex change operations for military members and from welfare for Mexican wetbacks and use it to help vets.

He does deserve better, but I find that these things are rarely straightforward. Does he actually want to do what he is doing? Many do. No family? Friends? Mentally ill? If he keeps getting fined, they may eventually jail him anyway, for non-payment, so that’s a plus.

Imagine the Billion$ that could be saved if just this one practice of waste were to end. Just imagine.... and then further imagine the even many more Billion$ upon Billion$ that could be saved if they were also kicked off the Social Security rolls....

Since when has mentioning the word "idiot" constitute nasty? The word is/was used to describe someone or something. So trying to pick a fight with me will get you no where. Go somewhere else to look for the attention you are seeking. I don't debate those who are only looking to pick silly 'food' fights.
