Your tagline is equally true "if you're a smart ass." Romney would have been worse, period. You're just too much of a dumbass to figure it out. You were led like a cow into voting FOR the guy who grandfathered Obamacare, FOR Roe v. Wade, FOR global warming regulation, FOR "gay rights," and FOR activist liberal judges, and ALL YOU HAVE TO DO to understand the truth of that statement is to look at his record. You think "worse" wouldn't have been for conservatives to have voted against their own best interests on FIVE major issues just because they were scared crapless of a weenie fraud like Obama? And thereby surrendering FIVE major issues permanently to liberalism under a phony "GOP" brand as masqueraded by Romney? You think that'd have been better?

You're STILL the dumbass, pal. A very short-sighted one.

He always is referring to himself when he uses the lines, “On loan from God.” But I suppose that goes right by you, in your undying admiration for the man.

He says, "I am Rush Limbaugh, serving humanity with talent on loan from Gaaawd".

Yes, of course... he's talking about himself. But, the statement itself implies that RUSH's talent, comes not from himself, but from God.

That's a statement that can EASILY be extrapolated to be true for ALL of us, for WHATEVER talent we may have.

But, I suppose that possibility goes right by you, given your irrational hatred of the man.

To say that my dislike of the man is irrational is not true. The word “irrational” implies that I have no basis for not liking him. I do; I have always detested people who think that they are someone special, i.e., smarter, more knowledgeable, and otherwise “better than thou.” And that is Rush Limbaugh. It is too bad that you—and one helluva a lot of others—don’t see him that way.

You like the guy. I, OTOH, think he’s a conceited, repulsive jerk. We each have our likes and dislikes. And that’s as good a place to end this as any. Bye.

If you don’t like him, turn him off...

I did, years ago.

I don't like the term "better than thou".. cause it implies more "worth, as a person"... which, isn't possible IMO. But, Rush HAS been WILDLY successful at one thing: making money. Far more than I. And, I bet.. FAR more than you.

maybe that turns you off... It doesn't bother me. I know his schtick. Most days, I can know EVERYTHING he will talk about just by reading Drudge and FR. I KNOW when RUSH is 'Mailing it in'...which, is rare... But, even during the mediocre times, he is usually funny.. and entertaining. And, every once in awhile.. even after ALL these YEARS, Rush comes up with NEW angles... NEW ways of approaching issues..

He's consistently conservative... I find no reason to dislike him... other than the repetitiveness, at times.

You don't have to listen. But, I've not seen much reason to "hate" the dude... doing so, would clearly be, irrational, for a 'conservative'.
