Everyone should be prepared as much as they can be for any conflict, because if it does happen it will almost certainly be escalated to that level with a government attack against us. I think it's clear there are some in our government who are pushing for that. I'm sure they are looking at our law enforcement and military to get an idea of who will do what. Hopefully we have the support needed to prevent something from happening.

We aren't trying to take away the Government's rights, we aren't trying to spend the government's money, we aren't telling the government it has to eat less or what to feed its children, and we aren't threatening it with remote controlled aircraft which are capable of carrying missiles which can be used to kill it.
We just want it to go by the very rules it was founded on, and for that we are declared "possible domestic terrorists".
We The People have been declared the enemy by the very government which is supposed to be our servant.

Now they are trying to pick up the pieces. People like Eleanor Clift are coming out of the woodwork to circle the wagons.
The drones would have started small. Someone would have been in a high speed car fleeing from a bank robbery. They would do a “splash” by taking out the car. It would be shown on TV to get the propaganda value of it. Soon, splashes would be routine with people walking out of their house instead of fleeing from a car. Then, they would splash the wrong person like they beat down the door to the wrong house.

Well, yes.
I pointed this out to someone in a private message, but the real thing that kills the Dems over this is not that president’s policy (or plans) of using drones to strike Americans on American soil has been exposed (because it doesn’t exist), but that the president’s policy of telling the Republicans to F-off, every time, when questioned by Congress was exposed.
What Rand really showed was the degree of hatred and contempt that the president and holder (and probably everyone else there) has toward the Republicans. A contempt that is so strong that they are unable to dignify an easy question that is irking millions of Americans, with an obvious answer. They just couldn’t do it - and that was too much for Rand and GREAT for him.
When government becomes the problem instead of offering solutions, it is time for rebellion. Revolt is way overdue!
