The Beach Boys had made their first splash in 1962 and hit their stride in ‘64. This time they turned to Bobby Freeman’s 1958 hit, “Do You Wanna Dance?”, which had been a hit again a year earlier for Del Shannon. This week, it jumped to #57 on the charts on its way up. Catch the drum work!
