keep believing that what the media says “nothing we can do with guns”, I'll keep believing in my fast draw, my gun and myself, my awareness and focus.

This has nothing to do with the media.

I'll keep believing in my fast draw, my gun and myself, my awareness and focus.

Firearms are not magic, nor are you a movie character.

The leftist view is that firearms are never helpful, and that it is more dangerous to own one than not to. Their view is patently ridiculous.

Countering their nonsense with a similarly nonsensical claim - that mere ownership of a firearm protects you from all possible harm in all possible scenarios - is foolish.

The reality is that owning a firearm is much safer than not owning a firearm, and owning a firearm makes a citizen much more capable of preventing harm to himself and others than otherwise.

Claiming that an armed citizen is impervious to all attacks is overpromising and setting yourself up for failure.

As I said in my previous post, very few people possess this level of skill.

The average citizen has a reaction time far slower than his, and he himself would have a far slower reaction time if he was surprised while he was distracted.

This is a preplanned performance in controlled conditions using a precise stance and target distance that he has practiced thousands of times.
