They are carrying on at my 12 year old's school about all the cuts and horror coming this way as a result. My son asked me to explain it.

I told him that he gets ten dollars a week this year for his allowance. I told him I was planning on giving him thirteen dollars a week next year, but due to increased household costs I was reducing it to twelve dollars allowance next year. I asked him if he thought that was a cut in his allowance, and he said heck no, and thanks for the increase.

So what is it again I'm too busy to understand?
