If there's one thing that's good in California, it's that there are no or very few Citgo gas stations out here. Citgo is the Venezuelan-owned oil company who decided to fly the American flag at half-staff in Houston, Texas to mourning the death of Hugo Chavez. Yes, our flag is being flown at half-staff to mourn the loss of a socialist dictator.

Thanks for the photo of Citgo’s office in Houston. I note that there are other flags on the property at half mast and presume at least one acknowledges/represents Chavez’s home nation of Venezuela and I have no quarrel with such. I do strongly object for such a foreign company of a nation, and especially the death of it’s leader who was not at all friendly to the USA, honoring the persons death as if the person was in the same field of honorable USA citizens especially veterans. This smacks of in your face USA or at least just plain ignorance of USA flag protocol.
Thanks pacificpundit.
I drove by CITGO Sunday morning. US and TX flags now flying at full mast.
