Now that Hugo Chávez is out of the picture, former U.S. Ambassador to Venezuela Otto Reich warns President Obama to tread carefully in dealing with the evil, evil men that are now running the South American nation.
These guys are so tricky and so evil, quite frankly, Reich, tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview following the announcement of Chávez death on Tuesday. The people in power in Venezuela today are evil.
Reich added that Fidel Castro and his brother may be calling the shots in Venezuela.

Correction: The POTUS will come out and say, “I knew Chavez and his henchmen. They’re not evil. They’re friends.”
Notice Reich’s description of the rise of Chavez. One in several generations, charismatic, etc.
Sounds just like the rise of Obama. Coincidence? I don’t think so. In the world of communism/marxism, there are no coincidences, only long-range planning, plotting, subversion, disinformation, propaganda and thugs.
Again, it sounds like the Obama White House - Jarrett picking Van Jones after watching him for years. Axelrod, who was mentored by two hardcore communists, one a Soviet asset, in Chicago. Obama a follower of Alinsky (like Hillary), and friends of marxist terrorists Ayers and Dohrn.
To which Obama would reply, “Well, that’s the Chicago way, Comrades”.
A typical situation when socialists get power. A relative few might be idealistic or naive, but always the restraints on government power are removed or eroded, alowing those with dictatorial amitions to rise and crush their more benevolent opposition. And then it’s claimed, by socialists claiming to be liberals, that a few bad apples corrupted an otherwise good system. Well what allowed them to do that? It’s inherent in the system.
Re the pic of ice-cold Chavez. Well, he does, in a way, look like the evil Staypuff MarshmellowMan of “Ghostbusters”.
Dead is good. Chavez dead, better. Hey, anybody seen Castro, or his body? Let’s make it a double.
EXACTLY! I debated a British guy about this very subject. He claimed that the Soviet system wasn’t what “true” socialism/communism was about. I said it was inevitable once power became centralized in the government.
You could stick a wick in his head and he’d burn for months....
Funny how the “true” socialism/communism is the indescribable and intangible goal that nobody can define. Once a state amasses absolute power, it does not “wither away” leaving a semi-anarchic state where everyone is so-called equal. Absolute power is the antidote to withering away.
Hey Otto, we have EVIL, EVIL people running THIS country!!
Exactly!!! And where are our churches? The Catholic Church is the only one with the strength to oppose Obama’s minions.
cookies, yum yum. :)
Not so sure about that.
The Catholic church doesn't have such a good history of fighting socialism in Central and S. America where it is by far the largest religious organization.
He knows.
You can say that again. The term "Liberation Theology" was coined to refer to the Catholics in Central America long before anybody ever heard of Jeremiah Wright.
So far, the Catholic Church has been the only one in the U.S. to speak out about Obama and his minions. Shame on our other churches. Why do they not speak out?
Was that before or after the bishops of the USSCB thought they’d cut a deal with the administration to exclude themselves from Obamacare, and then did not oppose it under that erroneous belief?
Catholics should have been excluded, since muslims are excluded. Catholics do more charity in this country than any other organization. They should be free from dhimmitude.
No, this is untrue. They don't like the abortion part of it but the US Bishops have been speaking out in favor of Gov't supported healthcare for a long time.
The Catholic Church also speaks out in support of illegal immigrants and help them to get on the tax-payer funded rolls.
Catholics in the US voted in the majority for Obama so in this sense they are in favor of Obama and his minions. Protestants did not.
