So silly ... I carry a 5 inch flashlight with laser pointer in my computer case on board any flight I am on ... and I fly a lot. Though the TSA sees it only as a flashlight ... it is in reality a deadly weapon when used as a Yawara stick (AKA Bone Breaker) AND it is completely legal to bring it on an airplane

First the laser is used to blind an opponent. Then the "stick" is held in the hand with the ends on top of the thumb and pinky fingers and the rest of the fingers on top of the stick. The stick is then forcefully shoved upwards under the nose of the unfortunate opponent. There are many simple techniques using the Yawara that a fairly unskilled person can use to disable an opponent. BTW a pen or like item can also be used in the same manner.

A cord bracelet, a cord necklace or a shoe lace, a bolo or any large chunky or sharp pointed jewelry, a tactical pen, a “knife” pen, mace in a lipstick container or pen, etc. Some are perfectly legal but others will get you in trouble if they’re noticed.
