In fairness, they NEVER put family information on a military bio. It is to protect the family. Back in the 80’s and 90’s they did add family bios but have since did away with the information.
I know some of you are joking, but you all can be real dicks some days, you know that?
Sure am glad none of you were in my Platoon when I was Platoon Leader.
Oh, wait - you probably were - bringing up the rear and then on to permanent KP Duty, LOL!
*SMIRK*
Understood.
She has a "Master of Arts degree in politics and economics."
Actually, politics is probably what she'll need in the role...
I was at Oxford with her.
1. She’s smart...d*mn smart.
2. She’s really really personable.
3. Want something done? Just ask her.
The Academy will be in very good shape. Not to worry.
It would be nice if you could express yourself without that kind of language, but since you are female, I could never had been in your platoon, I was one of the many men doing the work that females like you are too weak and inadequate to do.
Sounds good. Why did Obama nominate her? She doesn’t fit his criteria for being dumber than he is and unqualified.
Thank you. It took reading 25 posts to find an objective review of her capabilities.
“Sounds good. Why did Obama nominate her? She doesnt fit his criteria for being dumber than he is and unqualified.”
You ask a very good question which I really cannot answer. However, even the Obamadork can screw up and make a good choice occasionally. Again, if you should ever have the privilege of meeting this woman, believe me, you would see why she made General.
Despite the stereotype that Hollywierd usually presents when portraying generals, as a group, these folks are very very good at what they do.
And General Johnson will also beat your little rump at a good game of b-ball also...and she’s not tall.
Good to hear. I’m opposed to women in combat, but a woman can do a great job running a college. She actually sounds like a decent choice.

Running a service academy is (to my eye, at least) is more complex in many ways than running a college. The Superintendent has to blend both military training and discipline with very strong academic demands. And - all grads have to have Bachelor of Science degrees - which means that virtually no student there gets so slide by and get an advanced “Underwater Basket Weaving” degree.
Her real advantage, though, is she’s the top gun at the place. Cross her and you’re outta there!
An institution which should be a masculine, all male institution and Obama appoints a female and has hit a home run with a number of our freepers.
I guess we are to not only get past the inappropriateness of her appointment, but assume that Obama has the best interests of America and military readiness in mind.
It was supposed to an institution that produced warriors, not a college, turning it into a college is why the left brought in the females, to destroy the institution, not to make it more effective.
Blind squirrel? Stopped clock? Not sure, but I am impressed!
Women have been in the Academy for more than 35 years. Kinda late to be griping about it now IMO.
Besides that, her accomplishments speak for themselves!
ansell
While I don’t believe women should be in combat there is no reason for yours and others pathetic insults of this lady. you know nothing about her except that she’s female and yet you disparage everything about her.
You show a complete lack of class and integrity. If you spoke about my wife or friend like that I’d take a steel bar to the side of your head.
The left got the first women there in 1980, and this woman has been performing under female standards, not male standards, which you appear to support.
Your faith in Obama choosing her with the goal of enhancing military readiness and America’s ability to fight wars, is not shared by me.
If Obama is so crazy about women, why didn’t he marry one?
LOL, I’ve seen females in the military, it is embarrassing to see them struggling and playing games, yet wearing the uniform.
Your faith in Obama choosing her with the goal of enhancing military readiness and Americas ability to fight wars, is not shared by me.
I’ve seen females in the military who did a darn fine job. I’ve seen males who were worthless.
Basing someones merit on their gender is foolish. yes ansell you are a fool.
I support nothing Obama does. If you disqualify her because she was nominated during his administration then you must disqualify every military appointment made in the last 4.2 years.
Which puts you back in the fool category and not worth any more time.
