The military in general is more of a meritocracy than other areas of modern life. Compared to other branches of the armed services that is probably even more true of the Air Force.

Very detailed bio, with scant info on her family / marital status. Her basketball accomplishments however are a real resume enhancer with this administration.

In fairness, they NEVER put family information on a military bio. It is to protect the family. Back in the 80’s and 90’s they did add family bios but have since did away with the information.
