It depends on what your definition of “terrorist” is now doesn’t it?
They gave lip service to outrage.
There are plenty of Republicans here who are outraged at this and yet *still* defend the War on Terrorism.
There are plenty of people on both sides of the aisle who excuse government overreach when *their* party does it, but scream when the other party does.
The truly outraged people are those who either did not make excuses when “their party” did it, or who did—but have since repented of it and refuse to do so any longer.
Suspsected American Terrorist = can you say “Freeper”.
Are we ready to repeal the Patriot Act yet (for starters)?
I thought he said that there were no more terrorist.
What a switch that highlights the “moral” flexablity of those who call themselves members of the democratic party.
I suppose the real story here is the fact that we are indeed at war with ourselves. Democrats don’t mind unbridled power so long as it is in their man’s hands. Many republicans feel the same way. What we can’t stand or trust is each-other.
I suppose its just a matter of time before we start going after each other. Democratic crazies seem to be the most proactive, although their targets tend to be mostly other democrats.
Sooner or later their radical actions won’t seem so crazy to a growing share of members of both political factions. The Hostility within our hearts is already here in the form of a political Civil War. Frankly its only a matter of time and pressure before that war becomes violent.
They just keep raising the stakes.
The new Democrats (old socialists) hate Liberty. They always have.
