Seems like a simple question. If the state recognizes ‘gay marriage’, does that make it possible to you? My answer would be ‘of course not, the state doesn’t define marriage for me, ‘gay marriage’ is an impossibility’.
And as far as politics, I bet I have never voted any differently than you would have, or any conservative. I certainly voted for my state’s marriage amendment, it passed by 57% in 2006. I would do so again. I don’t think it will matter eventually, and I think it’s a shame the state has the power to punish those when they disagree with whatever impossibility it desides to call marriage at the time.
