Mr. Etch A Sketch screwed up an election that was the Republicants to lose.
Yes, indeed. By November, he could not have surprised me by anything he said.
From the GOP perspective it wasn’t a complete loss. by running Romney they moved the bar further to the left. Bhoner and McConnel now regularly cite the public’s ‘shifting attitude’ on a bunch of subjects...subjects Mitt championed like Gay whatever and such.
So they didn’t completely lose. In fact, I think that was the goal all along and to date, I have yet to see anything suggesting otherwise.
He had a lot of help from a bunch of GOP-e idiots, not the least of which was the Pillsbury Dough Boy who had his election night meltdown, then cried all the way to the bank the next day.
He waged his best fight against his conservative rivals in the primaries.
Perhaps the so called minority he failed to capture was the TEA Party he ignored from the very start, although I suspect, in the end, many of those patriots came through for him like we did.
All I know, is that you can't run for CIC and ignore the story of the day and that story was Benghazi!
