I realize those were congressional elections with a much lower turnout but the establishment wasn’t responsible for that awesome night back in November of 2010.

Low-information left-wing voters don't bother turning out for off year elections, as you note.

They do turn out for Presidential elections. I assure you that the strategies and candidate types of 2010 may work for 2014, but they will fail in 2016.

Are you suggesting then we get another moderate who will say the right things as the presidential nominee in 2016? Haven’t we been down that road before? We have not had a true conservative as the nominee since Ronald Reagan and the prospective field for 2016 doesn’t look like it will field one either. What is it exactly then you think will yield a winning Republican candidate in 2016?
