I remember a judge fondly who used to invite me to see his one eared elephant. He would then pull out his pants pocket and pretend to undo his zipper. We all just laughed at him. But I wasn’t 17.
I work in New London, and used to live there a couple years ago, I highly doubt that this will ever happen.

Looking back, Stupid then, Stupid now.
BUT in a public forum you would think the behavior of the ‘elected officials’ would be on a slightly more formal basis.
Also a VERY GOOD lesson for the 17 year old to see how ‘Government “works”’ and what her future tax dollar and vote will bring upon her.
