Sen. Charles E. Grassley (Iowa), listed several specific concerns with the bills. He said the assault weapons ban “raises a lot of constitutional questions”

The major question is whether it is fair for the government to have superior weaponry when confronting a disagreeing populace. Occasionally David will get lucky when he is up against Goliath, however, in the meantime, a lot more Davids will die than Goliaths.

The major question is that the onus should be on government to prove that restricting a God-given right. We need to start teaching Americans that the Bill of Rights is a Bill of Restrictions against government.

The Rights of the people are unlimited.
