You want to know why the left is more successful at politics? They are willing to move heaven and earth to create new dependency programs, despite the electoral risks. They understand that once the program is implemented, Republicans will never have the guts to undo it. And they are correct. Even some of our best conservatives lack the gumption to do what it takes to eliminate the worst program of all time – Obamacare.
In fact, House conservatives, not just the general rank and file Republicans, appear set to endorse Obamacare and approve its funding. Yes, even former Republican Study Committee (“RSC”) Chairmen Jeb Hensarling, Tom Price, and Jim Jordan along with present RSC Chairman Steve Scalise will do so, but I’m sure ACU will give them sufficiently high “conservative” scores to hide behind like they did with Mitch McConnell.
It’s ironic to watch some of the real conservatives and a lot of the so-called conservatives get excited about the prospect of producing a balanced budget with healthcare entitlement reform. Do these people really think we will be able to reform Medicare, which is a wildly popular program, when they lack the testicular fortitude to pull the trigger on Obamacare – a program that is still unpopular?
Republicans promised to defund Obamacare. They lied. Now we are at the end of the rope.

The last nail in America’s coffin.. We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
The left hammers home their views 24/7, whether it makes any sense or whether anyone agrees. Look at the Iraq war. They hammered Bush every minute of the day, even when the war had wide popular support. They hammered him before the war, during the war, and after. Eventually, public opinion swayed.
Our side looks at current polling and recent elections and runs the other way afraid of their own shadow. Even when the public still doesn’t like Obamacare, they hie their tail and run. When it was 2010 elections, they were good on the issue. Now, they think 2012 was some sort of endorsement of Obamacare, despite a public still against it.
Our side should pick up one part of the bill every couple weeks and hammer home why it is driving costs up on Americans....but nope....nothing. Pathetic.
Exactly.
The neo-marxist left creates the narrative, screams endlessly about how their false narrative is reality, the low-info voters shrugs his shoulders and accepts it, it then does become reality.
What do the Republicans say?
“Well, the demographics have shifted. We`d better adapt and accept it and move left to win votes.”
Pathetic.
Ayn Rand: “In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit.”
Democrats never stop pushing their agenda.
They grind away, every day, every month, every year, year after year after year.
Democrats are alwways on the attack - trying to take new ground.
Republicans are always on the defensive - trying to hold the line where it is.
The only compromises democrats make are in how much new ground they gain.
They never make a compromise where they actually lose ground.
When republicans compromise they always agree to give democrats some of what they want, so republicans always lose ground in any compromise.
Any compromise is a gain for the attacker.
That is the fallacy of compromise.
And that is why democrats are always crying to the public that they are willing to compromise.
Sigh. There is one thing every one of us can do. We can get on the phone and blister the ear of some congressional staffer that our representative should NOT sign anything that affirms Obamacare in any way whatsoever.
Unless they hear otherwise, we’re spinning our wheels griping on the internet.

Republicans had been given ONE CHANCE to rein in ObamaCare. (Pfffttt)
My father used to tell me how to stop liberals.
Roll up a news paper and pop them on the snout. They will go whining back under the porch. If after that they insist on being obstinate, put a bullet in them because they will no longer be of any use.
Lack of fortitude? That suggests that they’d LIKE to be conservative, but are afraid of voters or the media or whomever, so they fold and vote like liberals. The reality is that they are mostly all died-in-the-wool, keptocratic, big-government, crony-socialist liberals who occasionally put on a little show to fool the masses into believing they are conservative. As Hugo Chavez said of George W Bush, “We are all socialists, now.”
Blunt AND direct.
Why waste time trying to convert them.
I agree we ain’t seen nothin yet. When the economic collapse comes Obamacare will be a moot point.
