Detroit today and NYC at its worst during the 70’s are orders of magnitude apart. NYC was much, much, much, much, much better off.

NYC is reverting back to the cesspool it was before Giuliani cleaned it up. I commute into Penn Station every day. The main terminal where commuters and Amtrak tourists come in is a disgusting homeless shelter. The stench of homelessness is so bad. Nothing but dirty addicted bums shuffling around like the walking dead. Disgraceful.
