With H0lder since promoted and now in charge of the FBI hit teams, who can forget?

How many innocent children did H0lder incinerate in his custom oven?

really great show on cable TV about it. also read a book about ruby ridge as well. there is a straight line from waco to ruby ridge to murragh bombing.

as far as i know, it was never shown that the davidians were actually breaking any laws, including firearm laws. several of them, including women, went to jail for years because the federal agents were killed in the raid. this after their husbands and children were killed.

beyond appalling.

I read a great book about Mt Carmel and the seige by our government. I forget the name of it - i borrowed it from my Brother.

I need to read a good book on Ruby Ridge. That was just as appalling - in some instances, worse.

The mistake the Davidians made was not grabbing some collateral during the assault to prevent a future event and leave a position to bargain from.

Good thing Elian didn’t have a 2 liter soda, there might have been trouble.

I can clearly remember setting at my desk and listening to this on the radio and watching it live on CNN while it was happening.
I also quite clearly remember my outrage such as this happening in America. It was damn well-known that Koresh could have been taken in or talked to during one of his many visits into town.

The tank used by Reno and Holder sits in front of the American Legion Building on Tate Street in Corinth, Mississippi.

I totally agree with your synopsis of the tactics employed at Waco.

I worked about a mile from my residence and I remember by chance coming home for lunch that April 19th and turning on CNN or whatever news broadcast was carrying the live feed. I sat there on my couch transfixed as I saw the tanks moving about and then smoke started billowing out — then the flames.
I blew off work for the rest of the day and stayed home watching in disbelief.

I knew then that this was terribly wrong.

CS gas not suitable for warfare, OK to use against civilians.
The buildings bulldozed immediately afterward, so that there’d be no evidence to analyze.
Dogs shot.
Bodies left unrefrigerated, so that there’d be no evidence to analyze.

When tanks are outlawed, only outlaws will have tanks.

"Why was she never charged with a crime?"

Because, as hard as it may be to believe, she is one of the beautiful people.
