RE: Nixon wasn’t corrupt. He only did a coverup for something he didn’t do. He wasn’t even rich when he left office.

That is right.

I remember the whole Watergate thing.. Nixon had a huge lead and went on to win in 1972 with all but one state . Why would his campaign need to know about the opponent.. but there were people in his White House who had personal reasons for the break in.. some say.

I have always believed as some say that Nixon's coverup was to protect the ones on his staff who did it.

But most of all I ask name one thing that Nixon did that JFK and LBJ did not do.. one thing.

I remember Nixon as Eisenhower's VP. I remember that the Left hated Nixon since his days in Congress -- IIRC mainly because of his helping to expose Alger Hiss.

I remember Nixon rejecting urgings to challenge the fraud that gave Kennedy the 1960 election; Nixon was concerned about our Republic because the turmoil would not be good for America.

Wouldn't it be more correct to say something like Kennedy + Carter = Obama?

Regarding your post, after the election, the clamor for impeachment began. Tomorrow's big libdem hope was a part of that charade. Here's a link to what a supervisor had to say about that radical nut.

Excellent post. You are both right on!

“After four hours of deliberation, a federal jury in Baltimore ruled in favor of G. Gordon Liddy in a $5 million defamation of character suit brought by former Democratic National Committee secretary, Ida “Maxie” Wells. Wells claimed that Liddy hurt her reputation when he linked the infamous Watergate burglary to a call-girl ring. “
