I’m currently reading Paul Kengor’s “Crusader; Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism” and it makes me want to cry. The United States of 2012 faced many challenges, just as the United States of 1980 did. But in 1980, the American people still had the political will to elect Ronald Reagan, who ended communism and ushered in decades of prosperity. The United States of 2012 elected Barack 0bama.
This article is just more proof we desperately need another Ronald Reagan, but I don’t see one out there.
