Eschew attributing to malice that which can be explained by stupidity,
but never rule out malice.
The point of her tweet was that the evil greedy insurance companies are still screwing their customers, and government single payer is the only solution.
Benefits went up. If we had elected, as a company, to keep the same benefits our premiums would have dropped by 8% instead.
I understand your statement was sarcasm.
What many folks don't realize is that it is the insurance companies who are keeping the health industry in check.
Got Blue Cross as your carrier? Notice the EOB you receive from them which indicates the doctor's charges and the actual payment made by Blue Cross........
If you did not have insurance, you would have received the actual bill and been expected to pay it.
The inflated charges are a direct result of the medical industry's attempt recover the services charged to the uninsured who will never pay them.........
These are the folks who show up in the hospital emergency rooms day after day, night after night, with everything from a common cold to a gunshot wound but have no insurance and no intentions to pay the bill. And the hospitals are forbidden by law to deny them medical service.
FR Humor 'Hall of Fame' right there!!!
“Can she really be that stupid?”
Let me help you! Fat, Black, Marxist!
I agree with you on this. To stooooped to believe. It’s seems like a put-up to start setting the stage for the push to single payer, which will be the big hue and cry if Pelosi gets to be speaker again in 2015. It’ll be a “crisis.”
VOODOO, Donna....VOODOO. YOUR Black Prez has you in a SPELL......enjoy it.
Guess she didn’t get a waiver.
Hey Donna, go complain to your boss.
Bet he will get right on that.
