February 28, 1993, a raid by agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms sparked the biggest firefight in the history of American law enforcement and continued debate 20 years later. Two agents who were there say the disastrous raid led to fundamental changes in ATF.

“I live in Dallas and I remember how the news kept talking about how Koresh was a child molester who was holding people there against their will in his cult.”
I remember that, too. The Davidians had at least 50 hand grenades, ten 50 cal machineguns and 200 claymore mines, yet only 4 ATF agents died. Guess it was a lucky day for our federal heroes. Did you know that the ATF child molesters recruited 100 child slaves from Bangladesh to attack Waco?
Its my understanding the child molestation charges were fabricated by Janet Reno.
They had no evidence of any crime."

What's the BATF doing enforcing "child abuse" stuff?
“Phasogene.”
I think you mean phosgene, COCl2. Yes a banned war gas, it is a combustion product from a number of sources. It can be accidentally made in some meth syntheses.

One of those sources is CS tear gas, which our govt knows.
There wasn’t a meth lab on the premises, so why would you bring that up?
“There wasnt a meth lab on the premises, so why would you bring that up?”
Meth clanlabs are a major source of phosgene poisoning in the USA, thought it was relevant.
Also, there IS a faint connection- the only way you can get federal military troops involved in domestic police work is if there are narcotics involved. Posse Comatatus act, I believe. Reno and Web Hubbell neded military gear there, so they invented the Official Reality that there was a meth factory in the compound, so the Army was “justified” in sending armor for FBI to drive (my understanding is that no actual military was involved other than chopper pilots). All lies, naturally, there was no meth lab.
What I learned from Waco was this: when the government comes, don’t play defense! Attack, hit back and hit hard!
Reno didn’t raise the molestation charge until after the raid went sour and she needed something vile to gain public support. Reno was the vile monster in this case.
In response to you saying: “He was accused of molesting children which makes him worse then a bad guy. He becomes a despicable evil monster deserving instant death IMHO”
The government went in with a dynamic no-knock raid (called “Showtime” against a group of heavily armed end-of-worlders even after they knew that they had lost the surprise. They started the shooting. They killed the dogs. They were climbing on the roof seeking to break into a window. It was a completely moronic approach. They had an informer in the group. They could have simply asked David to surrender. The government, Reno and the Clinton’s are responsible for the deaths of those children.
In response to you saying: “I could step over that and ignore it expect for the little fact that over 30? children and about 100 other people were exucuted for something David may or may not have done.”
I was trying to frame the questions politely. I am 100% against all the feds actions in Waco. They murdered those people.
...many of them children.
After rereading my post 70, I see why people think I may be sticking up for the feds.
I did not get my intentions across very well.
I was trying to say Koresh may be molesting kids but that does not give the feds the right to murder innocent men women and children in any fashion let alone the horrible way those people died.
