“appear to be acting unruly” sure is a VERY vague and subjective criteria for violating foundational rights enshrined in the Constitution.
Unruly could mean “defending himself and property”...
A Hurricane is a true disaster, it can expose people and lay them bare as they fight it and try to survive and keep down the destruction of their home and the loss of their heirlooms and valuables.
To add the fear of hyped up armed teams raiding your home with all the dangers that entails, with them stripping you of your means to protect your family in the emergency and threat of a lifetime and when your family loses it’s windows and door locks, the car and access to police and 9/11, and the threat of seeing your guns scratched and damaged and thrown in a truck to be exposed to salt water and 6 months of rust and a nightmare of trying to get back the damaged guns.
What a nightmare.
Politicians have always been cowardly but they’ve really begun to hide behind this constant ‘cops, firemen, EMTs and workers’ nonsense as if these groups never make mistakes and/or aren’t public employees also. Obama is fond of this stunt.
I know folks from Alabama...just try to take their weapons in a time of emergency (or anytime for that matter)...the whole proposition is a lot of baloney.

That really surprises me. Guntersville is not located in the extremely conservative South Alabama but it is still in a very conservative region. Maybe this Mayor will get a reality check next election.
Something like this has been my argument posted in the Comments sections of different newspapers, trying to wake up those people who think expanding the background check is OK.
If everyone has to get the government’s OK before they can transfer a firearm, there’s nothing stopping them from shutting down the computers in the name of a “National Emergency”, thereby freezing all sales/transfers. Anyone doing so anyway is automatically a criminal, especially if Schumer’s demand for a 4473 for every transfer goes through.
Pound this into the heads of the non-gun owners that it would be too late to wait until a disaster to try and get a gun.

This is video from a first player shooter game called Project Reality. It’s the most realistic first player shooter based game out for years. Not trying to promote it either. They just did the 2013 videos for the game and there was a video created by an online gaming clan that fired me up for America and stirred the Patriot within. The creator used Charlie Chaplain’s final speech from the movie The Great Dictator and combined it with Hans Zimmer music.What’s even more incredible is the things he describes is happening right now.
Interesting considering the movie was the first time in Hollywood an actor used a movie to promote his political views. Even more interesting is Chaplain was speaking against socialism since today’s Hollywood is full of liberals. I apologize again if this is not the correct place to post this
