These people did not have insurance???
Apparently they had the best kind of insurance. The kind that other people pay for.
I guess it depends... if the house was paid for free and clear...you would need just liability not replacement insurance ...
I certainly hope whatever insurance money is being paid out either goes to the state or is subtracted from the buyout...
I'm sure some politician is getting his palms greased pretty well over this deal....
