It's early days for 3-D printing. It's ramping up exponentially, just like computers did. Prices are coming down, quality and capablities are going up. Give it a little time. We're just at the VIC-20 stage for consumer 3-D printing.

I’ve been keeping an eye on prices. They are coming down. You can get a decent printer for under $1K. There are lots of stuff I can think of making with one of these printers.
