There are more important things we, as Conservatives, have to focus on concerning government than a Senator’s extracurricular sexual adventures outside of his public office.
Is his behavior disgusting? Yes. Is it impeachable? No.
If it is possible to embarrass and shame Menendez out of office, then go for it. I just don’t believe it is worth wasting print time here at Free Republic.
It is important for an array of reasons. Irrespective of the what one feels about the moral aspects of his behavior, it is relevant because 1.) It puts him in a position to be compromised, 2.) It takes away the ‘moral high ground’ from him if/when he tries to use this ploy in attacks against Republicans, 3.) Remember what they did to Herman Cain. If you let them do that to us without reprisal you just invite more of the same.
Finally, when you are a politician living off the taxpayer's dime, you don't have the right to do whatever you want in your private life and not be culpable for it.
Well, since this corrupt freak is MY senator, I damn well want to read about his antics on FR. You may not know it, but he is alleged to be having sex with underage girls in the Dominican Republic (that’s called rape and trafficking in the sex trade in my book).
He’ll go; it’ll take time but there’s movement towards getting rid of him.
