Islamic regime fears poisonous fallout clouds could hit cities
Radiation is leaking from Irans nuclear facility at Fordow, which suffered devastating explosions on Jan. 21, WND has learned, and the regime has ordered millions of antidote iodine pills from Russia and Ukraine amid fears the radioactivity will spread.
Many of the personnel, who arrived after the explosion to assist with the cleanup at the site, have been taken to a military hospital suffering from headache, nausea and vomiting, according to a source in the security forces protecting Fordow.
A special team of nuclear experts was ordered to the site days ago, the source said, and detected high levels of radiation.
-snip-
Iran denied the incident, and its official news agency, IRNA, in a report, called WND a mouthpiece of the CIA and Reza Kahlili a CIA agent whose reporting was mere propaganda by the West. Regime media have also attacked Hamidreza Zakeri, a former officer of Irans Ministry of Intelligence, now living in Europe, who has provided information on the Fordow explosion and other valuable insights into the regimes illicit nuclear activities.
In an unusual move on Jan. 29, the spokeswoman for the International Atomic Energy Agency, Gill Tudor, emailed reporters a brief statement: We understand that Iran has denied that there has been an incident at Fordow. This is consistent with our observations.
When pushed by WND, however, Tudor could neither confirm nor deny the incident had taken place and would not say whether IAEA inspectors had visited the site after the explosions, despite some media reports that they had.

Bttt!
Waiting for all the WND haters to start bashing in 3....2...1...
You know something is up when the Liberal and PhonyCon MSM remain silent.....they even refuse to try to discredit the WND story
Wow the Iranian regime sounds just like ours.
Luuuuucy...you got some splainin’ to do.
Looks like Iran is on schedule to Darwin themselves out of the way.
IIRC our regime said it didn’t happen.
Allah sez that nuclear stuff is haraam.
But, it's WND so who knows?
Sounds fairly Clintonian. I'll read this as "observations" equating solely to Iran's denial, and nothing more.

I do not hate WND. In fact I get their breaking new alerts
in my G-Mail.
What I do NOT like is their teasers that force you to go to the site just to get the meaning of the teaser.
In this case, however, they actually told you the substance of the headline.
They need to do this all of the time, otherwise I am tempted to cancel them.
lol
couldn’t have happened to a more deserving group!
The media wouldn't remotely have the time to try to debunk every single bogus story from worthless sources.
I don’t recall another putative major incident where it took so long to determine if it actually occurred or nothing happened at all. Well, maybe Roswell. Intelligence knew right away, though, even agencies that weren’t in on the sabotage if any. And if radioactive particles were released they would have made it past the borders of Iran by now, easily.
Surely you don’t doubt WND.
I mean, it is certainly probable that there is a poisonous radiation cloud that is floating over the middle east, and has been since late January, and not a single news outlet in the entire PLANET has said one word about it, right?
Because nuclear fallout — that’s one of those things that everybody wants to just ignore and hope it goes away.
It’s not something that would generate thousands of news stories and panic across the region as people in multiple countries tried to flee the path of this death-cloud.
Great article! WND is putting their neck on the line by listing the dead researchers by name and daring the Iranian regime to produce those persons alive.
May they begin to fry, slowly, while still up here with us regular people.
“I dont recall another putative major incident where it took so long to determine if it actually occurred or nothing happened at all.”
This looks to me like a replay of the Israeli strike on the Syrian reactor. The Israelis said nothing after the attack and neither did the US or Russians. The Syrians have never admitted that it happened to this day.
Here is a great recent update from one of the principals in the Bush Admin:
