I moved out of there 2 months ago not just because it was too expensive, but because I couldn’t take living under a despotic state anymore. The final straw is when he started demanding landlords submit a list to the city of all the people who smoke in their apartments. That’s Nazi sh*t, so I was outta there. Libs want to live like that, then fine. Live it up.
People in other parts of the country have no idea how fast it can all change around. They think they’re safe because it’s the USA, but all they need to do is look towards NYC. The constitution no longer exists in NYC. The city rules every aspect of your life, and if you do not toe the line they will utterly destroy you.
A friend of mine use to own a deli on Queens blvd in Woodside. Is say use to because he closed down, went out of business. Why? Because of the Nazi tactics of the Bloomberg administration. Like the Nazis, they tagged his windows. But instead of “Juden” written in whitewash, they tagged his place with letter ratings: A for best, B for OK, C for fail all in the guise of “public health” which is BS. All this depended on how you paid off his brown shirts on what rating you got.
For example in one day he could find himself facing thousands of dollars in fines for the most minute offenses such as “cash register display less than 8” off the counter” or “no cash refunds” posted in the front, or cigarette display less than 5 feet from counter”..on and on and on and on and on and if you didn’t pay and pay and pay then came the “health inspectors” who like the Nazis tagged your window advising the public to not do business with you.
And if you think that’s bad, he regularly threatens cops if they do not act like brown shirts, if they do not help the city steal money from the citizens. For example he gives them an insane amount of ticket quotas they have to reach, and if a driver contests the ticket in court and wins, Bloomberg then docks the cop 3 vacation days. People don’t believe it, so I direct them to the PBA website....
