Again, you equal antisemitism and criticism of Israel.
They are not the same: you can criticise Israel, even be violently opposed to it, and not be an antisemite. One is hatred for a country, the other hatred for a race/religion.
The British people have never been an antisemitic people, and we are talking simply anti-semitism here, not anti-Israeli policy. British anti-semitism has been a preserve of the upper class in the 30’s (the Cliveden Set) or the knuckle dragging racist (today’s BNP). Antisemitism is tiny in England, and Scotland, NI and Wales have no history of it.
The British people have never been remotely an antisemitic people. As I said, many of our icons and best loved entertainers, writers and musicians are openly and proudly Jewish. Jewish culture is celebrated (again, I ask: did US television show not one but FIVE different Jewish culture series, as British TV did last year?. If not, the surely you in America are antisemitic, no?). Many iconic British businesses are Jewish.
Our three most powerful politicians are part Jewish. The Prime Minister of Great Britain is part Jewish. Britain had a Jewish PM when you lot were debating Dred Scott. WHERE IS YOUR JEWISH PRESIDENT?. Surely then America is antisemitic, no?.
As to the British not criticising ME tyrants and torture. God almighty. Who was at the forefront to oust Gaddafi?. Who sent planes, ships and the SAS to Libya, whilst America only moved after Britain and France
And if you dont think the British officially or publicly criticise Syria and other ME states, you havent a ******* clue, mate, not a clue. I see more condemnation from the British Foreign Secretary than I ever do from America. And the war in Syria is still frontpage news and the first item on British tv and radio news.
Saudi Arabia?. If anyone is their biatch, its you.
p.s guess which country helped Israel in the 1948 war, using planes to repulse attacks on Israel: Britain or America?. Give you a clue: its not you. So we actually fought for Israel in 1948 whilst America sat on its behind as usual.
