DOD will not receive on penny less after March 1 or next year than it has this year so why the furloughs?

...in fact, they will receive an increase next year.

It is that increase in funding going forward next year that is being cut by 2%, not anything they are currently receiving, only a decrease in their increase.

“Why the furloughs”? The administration has made a political decision to impose furloughs across the entire OSD workforce regardless of whether such furloughs are required or justified.

A Decrease In An Increase is still on Increase, not a Cut!

Only in goverment speak is a less increase a cut.
