I am not concerned about the pink stripe on the NC illegal immigrant driver's license. I am concerned that such a thing as an illegal immigrant driver's license even @#$%ing exists.

“North Carolina should not be making it harder for aspiring citizens to integrate and contribute to our communities by branding them with a second-class driver's license,” said ACLU attorney Raul Pinto.”
Aspiring citizens? These are law breakers! We already have enough of them in this country. They have no respect for our laws and do not deserve anything.

They’re already trying to equate it with a star of David in nazi germany.
There’s a simple way around it. They could go home.

They should paint yellow stripes on the backs of all politicians who think that coddling illegal criminals is good for the country.
After that, they should take them out to the public pillory and let the law abiding citizens throw rotten veggies at them for a period of 10 days.
Pink stripes on illegal’s driver licenses? How stupid of an idea is that? Oh, I just thought of a good reason for it. It could be used by the border patrol as a criminal ID so that they could be easily identified as they spoke to the agent in Spanish because they couldn’t speak English. In that manner they could be immediately sent back to Mexico without any delay due to the courts and save the people a lot of money and time in doing so.
Oh wait....I just woke up from this dream............

Back in November Obama’s defacto dreamers protested here in Michigan and one of their complaints was that not having a driver’s license made them feel singled out when illegally voting.

It is just so beyond comprehension, that people who are 'ILLEGAL aliens', i.e. people who broke the laws to get into this country, are given drivers licenses...why aren't they being arrested and expelled from the country? I can guarantee you, that almost every country these people come from would do the exact same thing if I snuck into their country and tried to stay, never mind tried to get a drivers license...this country is doomed.

Yeah, but pink IS maricon.

I’m concerned. Start here, making classes or ranks of citizens. Does anyone think it ends here?
They’ll get pink stripe. What color will yours be?
Pink citizen, is that 3/5 of a red one? Is a blue one worth 1.5?
Equality under law is vanishing as it is. This is where they start to formalize inequality.

Perhaps North Carolina should also consider putting a color stripe on the driver’s licences of 3 time D.U.I. offenders.

Oops. licences licenses
To: Slings and Arrows
That is my concern too. Why are they handing these people drivers licenses instead of putting handcuffs on them and deporting them back across the border?

Get used to it. They have more right to be here than you. Why? Because they’re “indigenous”. [/s]

brand or identify them ?IMHO, we should tattoo a bright, bold, pink "I" on their forehead.
Imagine this in pink :)

"There is simply no reason for officials to stigmatize people who are in the U.S. legally with an unnecessary marker that could lead to harassment, confusion, and racial profiling." Excuse me? In the U.S. legally?
