Indeed, the folks over at Morning Joe are -- wait for it -- saddened by his downfall (via Jazz Shaw):

It is a sad story. Doesn’t mean that I'm not glad that the Jackson's got caught.

It is a sad story.
No, no fecking way this is sad. If anything it was predictable as snow in winter.
He deserves everything he's brought upon himself - including our condemnation.

Just a reminder about how Jesse Jr. became wealthy in the first place. Back in the 80’s when Jesse Sr. was getting his extortion racket going, one of his first corporate victims was Coca Cola. They were accused of not having enough minority distributors, and as part of their shakedown deal they agreed to give distributorships to blacks. The very first of these was to give a big area of Chicago to none other than Jesse Jr.

Getting caught only proves that young Jerkson is more stupid than his idiot father.

That reminds me how sad they were that Mark Foley (or substitute any GOP congressman) got caught .... NOT!Any time a prominent Republican gets caught doing anything illegal, there's non-stop smirking at MSNBC and to a slightly lesser degree at the other alphabet networks, and the morning shows such as "The View" with Meredith Vieira and Whoopi Goldberg.
Particularly when the Republican is caught texting sexual messages to a young male page, or patronizing a prostitute, or doing anything else that's inconsistent with a family values agenda. The worst offense in the Democratic Party's quasi-religion is Republican hypocrisy. Democratic hypocrisy in such matters is carefully ignored for the most part.

The thing is, with no morals (D-rat), whatever they do is ok.
But Republicants are “supposed” to be the responsible party etc. so it’s “b-ad” when a R does something wrong.
Supposedly.
Both parties are actually sides of the same coin, just R’s pretend to be conservative.

It'’s true that the Jackson's deserve anything that they get. It is just sad that they are thieves.
