Suppressors should never have been restricted. Even most of Europe recognized that. Another tyranny foisted on us by the Roosevelt administration.

Most people don't realize that suppressors only muffle the report of the rifle enough to not require the shooter to use ear protection. They all think that it's like the movies - what do you expect from your average guy who has no idea of what firearms really are and what they are and are not capable of... Think of the Governor of NY who thinks the 2nd amendment is all about deer hunting. Sad

it saves your hearing because it affects the shock wave.
it was considered good manners to use them, to not cause unnecessary noise to your neighbors.

Excellent move in WY.
Make this a national trend. My hearing is half shot from hunting. I wear protecting when shooting at the range, but even then I would like to have suppressors, particularly indoors or under cover of a roof outdoors. This is a health issue. Not a security issue.
