If you open up the book on rage attacks in the US over the past decade...from coast to coast...most all will involve some steroid use. Cops don’t want to mix this into the evidence because it’ll just confuse a jury and give them a reason to let the guy off (he was on drugs and couldn’t control himself-defense).

It’s not really a defense because he did it to himself, voluntarily.

In fact, steroids will probably raise the profile of the attack and put it on the news, so why wouldn’t cops advertise the fact?

Or maybe because a significant number of cops are steroid abusers themselves.
