You should both read the entire article. This is a liberal writing for a liberal rag to a liberal audience. You must give credit to where credit is due.
I believe he did a pretty objective peice and “understands” the thrill of owning and shooting firearms now that he’s experienced it.
He supports our conservative position and is against 2A legislation. He is the kind of liberal that other liberals might listen to. A pat on the back is in order, not vilification for association.
I had read the whole article. You’re right in that it’s written for a lib audience, and thus must be taken with that grain of salt in mind.
But my point is he shows up with typical lib prejudices, and while he soon finds many of them untrue, he’s pushing the “guns are for killing people and the firing range” shibboleth.
