I thought the LAPD wasnt at the cabin? /sI've been wondering and have been meaning to ask, how can LAPD be in San bernandino's jurisdiction?
I'm not suggesting anything but LA vs Big Bear is at least 3 hours away.
Is that common practice, do you know?

I’m sure there’s some kind of formal process for it.

San Bernardino is a different county generally to the East of LA. Some MSM stories said LAPD had members present but SB cops were doing the stuff.
These people are all technically speaking CA government employees so WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE. Dorner is dead as a door nail, and THAT'S A GOOD THING.

Is that common practice, do you know? I'm sure someone will follow up with the specifics, but CA LEOs are sworn at the State level. There is a lot of inter-agency this and that. I know officers from other cities transit through my town to the county court house and they will make traffic stops outside their own city.
