They were all looking for oil contracts. I am not so sure about ARCO because the BP takeover was completed in 2000 and was a couple of years in the making. ARCO wasn’t concerned about future investments. So, with that one lie, does that throw the rest into question? I don’t know. Previous articles mention CONOCO.
