Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius may have beat his girlfriend with a cricket bat before shooting her to death in his South Africa home, according to a new report.
-snip-
"There was lots of blood on the bat. Forensic tests will show whose blood it was," a source with inside knowledge of the case told City Press.
As well as bullet wounds to the head, arm, hand and hip, Steenkamp suffered a crushed skull, according to the South African paper.

Battered women tend to seek out men that are predisposed to violence.
I’ve always advocated holding women responsible for getting into relationships with violent men, not because they are responsible for the violence, but because they are responsible for whom they choose to become connected with.
He mistook her for a cat burglar.
That’s what it’s starting to sound like to me as well.
That, and Oscar has serious “anger management” issues.
I’ve read here and there, and maybe it was the SA Mail & Guardian, that he was under suicide watch.
“Roid Rage” is an old wive’s tale that needs to die. There’s zero scientific evidence of it.
Does he get to wear his prothetics in prison or does he have to just drag himself around? I vote for dragging. Instead of “blade runner”, he’ll be “the slug”.
Especially when it came to their own female partners or those they deemed to be their property.
Back when it wasn't a federal offense like it is today, I saw lots of people use steroids with good effect bodybuilding wise with no visable mental side effects. Once they quit the drugs most got fat and couldn't face themselves in the mirror though.
Hold on. "She fell after I shot her accidentally, thinking she was an intruder, and she landed vary hard on the cricket bat. Then she went into convulsions and her head began jerking up and down and repeatedly violently slammed into the bat. It was horrible and there was nothing I could do to help her."
The victim is a discontinued model and the accused has no leg to stand on.
“The crazy thing is that she was an activist for battered women because she had been in an abusive relationship before.”
Gosh, I could imagine what that must have been like...”Honey, please pass the salt.”
“WHAT AM I, JUST SOME OBJECT HERE TO SERVE YOU? GET YOUR OWN #%&@ SALT!!!”
I don’t see myself ever dating an “activist for battered women”...
if i were leaving a volatile relationship, or a man with a bad temper, i would not tell him in person... how many times have we heard about a gal meeting the abusive guy one last time only to be killed by him during that final visit...
i would not feel that i owe it to him to tell him in person.. and i would just tell him i am too afraid of him to meet him in person...
your imagination has conjured up quite a scenario...
That explains why the prosecutor wanted to press capital murder charges last week.
Shot while sitting on the can?
Not too glamorous a way to go.
no, some people through no fault of their own attract monsters. You are part of the problem with your pathetic “Ive always advocated holding women responsible for getting into relationships with violent men” FU FU FU
Oh My...
I was willing to give him the benefit of a doubt...but this sound serious...
I will now remain silent..and watch the outcome and pray for both their souls...
The “Blade Runner” guy is probably one of those spoiled brats that has been allowed to get away with things all his life. I remember hearing him whine during the Para-Olympics that another runner cheated because his blades were larger; this was after he was given special treatment in the normal Olympics.
Watch? Heck, give him some rope and put it on pay per view.
Obviously a clear and immediate burglar threat that required the use of lethal force.
I had read she had been “tweeting” about what a wonderful Valentine’s day she had planned. Doesn’t match up with telling him she was going to leave him.
