Rove’s attempts to alter/improve American politics probably began its journey on the right path. But, like many Republicans who began their journey in the right direction, he came to a fork in the road and made the wrong turn. That is one of the dangers in American politics and the same thing could eventually happen to the Patriot movement unless a great deal of “honest” leadership is exercised.

Rove’s attempts to alter/improve American politics probably began its journey on the right path.

Rove/Dubya began doing that in Texas state politics, where "good government" RiNO types were recruited from the business ranks and moderate-Republican attorney ranks to oppose strong conservatives who were incumbent in state, judicial, and school-board positions.

Rove seems to believe that when the MSM propaganda machine scores a 5% movement in public opinion on a social issue like homo-everything, the wise Republican candidate moves with the polls, always, always "triangulating" on whatever the Democrat agitprop machine manages to put across, in order to preserve the GOP facade of "reasonableness".
