A big part of it, but these guys also get wrapped up in hearing how great they are. After a while, if anybody criticizes them, it is such a shock they freak out, cover their ears, and go Nyah, Nyah, Nyah, Nyah, until it stops.
My guess is Karl’s brain has crossed the point where he can contemplate the fact he may be doing anything wrong. Now it will always be the fault of everyone else, and Karl will always be a failure because everybody didn’t do exactly what he said. Just like when Fox called the election, and he denied it could possibly be true. It’s a shame to see him go out this way, but what can you do.
