For the sake of the children, of course.

This is great! The ‘Pubbies need to get it out of Committee, on the Floor, and demand a Roll-Call Vote.

“Show” the people of Missouri and the USA that, yes, they do want to take your guns. And get names...

I don’t know about this specific case, but in general one way of handling the assault rifle (AR) problem might be this. In communities that worry about ARs, in line with the “well regulated militia” part of the Second Amendment, there could be a central repository/armory (in large cities, several) where for a small fee people could deposit their ARs and ammunition for safe keeping unless wanted to go target shooting or the like. This could also be a place where people going on vacation could leave their weapons to prevent having their homes broken into and stolen. If the mother who was killed by her crazy son with her AR could have deposited her weapons in a place like that, he would not have killed her for the key, and 26 people (20 children) would probably still be alive.

My recollection is that our patriots at Lexington and Concord had some such arrangement, and took the weapons out of storage to meet the Red Coats on the square.

Citizen disarmament generally leads to one of two inevitable outcomes: Government tyranny and genocide, or, revolution and civil war.

I stand by to offer a safe-haven for any Missouri citizen owned high-capacity magazines or weapon (strictly following all state and federal regulations, that is).

Our state recognizes an “unorganized militia” which is protected by laws dating back to reconstruction.

I think the Sheriffs, and State Police, who are expected to do the confiscation if the law passes should notify the various, treasonous members of the Legislature that THEY, the legislators, should be the ones to go door to door to carry out the law. No police escort to be provided.

How about the good citizens of Missouri give these filthy little monsters 90 days to GTF out the USA and never return?
