But what happens to the stock market if this happens? A large portion of the success of the stock market is because many of us have our retirement plans tied to it. If there is even much more talk about this "plan", many will be removing their money from the 401Ks despite the tax penalties...

Hmmm.....or maybe THAT is what they want!!!! How do you get more immediate tax revenue? SCARE the common folk into thinking that your entire 401K is going to be taken away. You make an immediate withdrawal of all funds and pay the tax penalty on that money and VIOLA!!! MORE REVENUE!!

Take a very popular and self-defined "nonpartisan" radio show whose regular guests -- to this day -- blame Nixon and Bush for all wrongs --

one assured the audience as an aside about the election that if Obama lost and Romney screwed things up Obama would be eligible in 2016 to make things right again.

I imagine that "nonpartisan" TV shows are even worse.
