I probably would have been standing at the window and gotten cut up like everyone else.
I guess that’s now a safety tip - if you see something like this indoors, after it passes, make sure within about a minute or so you duck and cover away from the window and put your fingers in your ears (these are so high up you have a decent delay before the sound.)
This is literally what duck and cover is about. If you survive the initial heat wave of an explosion you need to get down and not go looking. Especially near glass. Depending on the distance it could take easily 60 seconds. It would need to be a very high yield blast to do damage that far away, but you never know.
