I just read this from one of the articles -
“”According to an unconfirmed report in Russia Today, the meteorite was intercepted by Russian air defense.””
I just had to lol, that thing was coming in at about 33k mph, unless they have a big laser we know nothing about they didn’t intercept squat.

Even then, it would be kind of like the bug that intercepts your car windshield when you're driving down the freeway.
